JLet’s start with a really common mistake. In our story, Kevin says to his roommate, “Jessica, my package is arrived, but I can’t find it anywhere!” People will understand him, but “is arrived” isn’t right in English.先從一個很常見的錯誤開始。故事裡，Kevin 對室友說：「Jessica，我的包裹 is arrived，可是我到處都找不到！」別人聽得懂，但 is arrived 在英文裡是不對的。
MRight. Arrive is already a verb, so we don’t add “is.” Just say, “My package arrived.” Or if you want to say it’s there now, “My package has arrived.” A lot of learners want to add “is,” because it feels like “is finished” or “is gone,” but arrive doesn’t need it.對。arrive 本身就是動詞，所以不用加 is。直接說 My package arrived.，或是想強調已經到了，就說 My package has arrived.。很多人會想加 is，因為覺得像 is finished、is gone，但 arrive 不需要。
JNext, how do you talk about what the tracking page shows? Jessica asks, “You mean the tracking says it was delivered?” For screens, signs, and emails, we use the word “say.” A screen says something. It doesn’t “show arrived.”接下來，追蹤頁面上顯示的東西要怎麼說？Jessica 問：「你是說追蹤頁面顯示已經送達了？」螢幕、告示牌、電子郵件上寫的內容，英文習慣用 say。不要說 show arrived。
MYes, and the status word is “delivered.” So the simple version is, “It says delivered.” Same idea for a sign: “The sign says closed.” Whenever you read something off a screen or a sign, just use “says.” Easy, right?對，而且狀態的字是 delivered。簡單版就是 It says delivered.。告示牌也一樣：The sign says closed.。只要是讀螢幕或牌子上的字，就用 says。很簡單吧？
JQuick bonus while we’re here. If you’re waiting, you can ask your roommate, “Has my package arrived yet?” And when the driver finally shows up, you can say, “It just arrived!” Both use arrive with no “is” at all.順便補充一下。如果你還在等，可以問室友：Has my package arrived yet?（我的包裹到了沒？）等到司機終於來了，你可以說 It just arrived!（剛剛到了！）這兩句都完全沒有 is。
MGood habit. Arrived, has arrived, just arrived. Never “is arrived.” Okay, but what if the tracking page says delivered and you really have nothing? That’s where Kevin’s next line comes in.這是好習慣。arrived、has arrived、just arrived，絕對不說 is arrived。好，那如果追蹤頁面寫已送達，你手上卻真的什麼都沒有呢？這就要用到 Kevin 的下一句了。
JKevin says, “Yes! It says delivered at two p.m. But I never got it.” Notice “I never got it.” That’s stronger than “I didn’t get it.” It means you got nothing at all. And it sounds very natural.Kevin 說：「對！上面寫下午兩點送達，可是我根本沒收到。」注意 I never got it. 這句，它比 I didn’t get it. 語氣更強，意思是你完全沒收到。而且聽起來很自然。
MI like that one. You can also say, “It never showed up,” or, “I still haven’t gotten it,” if you’re still waiting. All of these sound natural in everyday talk. Okay, so where did the package go?我喜歡這句。你也可以說 It never showed up.（它一直沒出現），或是還在等的話說 I still haven’t gotten it.（我到現在還沒收到）。這些都是日常很自然的說法。好，那包裹到底去哪了？
JGood question. Jessica asks, “Did they leave a photo? Most drivers take a picture when they drop it off.” “Drop off” just means to leave something somewhere. The driver drops off your package at the door, then takes a photo.問得好。Jessica 問：「有附照片嗎？大部分司機放下包裹時都會拍一張。」drop off 的意思就是把東西放在某個地方。司機把包裹放在門口，然後拍張照。
MAnd that’s where Kevin notices something. He says, “There’s a photo, but wait. That’s not our door.” So Jessica says, “So it went to the wrong address.” That’s the phrase for when a package goes to the wrong place.這時 Kevin 發現不對勁。他說：「有照片，可是等一下，那不是我們家的門。」所以 Jessica 說：「所以是送錯地址了。」包裹送到錯的地方，就用這句。
JThen she adds, “At least a porch pirate didn’t take it.” A porch pirate is someone who steals packages from people’s doorsteps. It’s a funny word, but it’s real, and Americans use it all the time.然後她又說：「至少不是被門口小偷拿走。」porch pirate 指的是專門從別人家門口偷包裹的人。這個詞聽起來很好笑，但是真的，美國人常常用。
MKevin is surprised. He asks, “A porch pirate? People really steal packages?” And Jessica says, “Sadly, yes. Especially during big sales.” So during Black Friday, keep an eye on your doorstep.Kevin 很驚訝。他問：「門口小偷？真的有人會偷包裹喔？」Jessica 說：「很遺憾，真的有，尤其是大特價的時候。」所以黑色星期五期間，要多留意你家門口。
JOkay, now the part that really helps. What do you say to the store? Start with, “I’d like to report a missing package.” It’s polite, it’s clear, and it works on the phone or in a chat window.好，接下來是最有用的部分。你要怎麼跟店家說？開頭就說 I’d like to report a missing package.（我想通報包裹遺失。）這句有禮貌、很清楚，打電話或線上客服都能用。
MThen tell them what you want. “Can you send a replacement?” means send me a new one. Or, “Can I get a refund?” means give me my money back. Kevin says he’ll ask for a replacement or a refund.接著告訴他們你想要什麼。Can you send a replacement? 是請對方補寄一個新的。Can I get a refund? 是問能不能退款。Kevin 說他會要求補寄或退款。
JOne more tip from Jessica. She says, “Good plan. Have your tracking number ready. It makes things faster.” So before you call, copy the number from the app. Then you’ll sound calm and ready.Jessica 還給了一個小提醒。她說：「好主意。先把追蹤號碼準備好，處理會比較快。」所以打電話前，先從 App 把號碼複製下來，你聽起來就會很冷靜、很有準備。
MNow, a warning. Some people say, “Please send me again.” But that sounds like “mail me again,” like you want to be put in a box! Say, “Can you send a replacement?” or “Can you send it again?” instead.再提醒一個地方。有些人會說 Please send me again.，但這聽起來像「把我再寄一次」，好像你要把自己裝進箱子！改說 Can you send a replacement? 或 Can you send it again? 就對了。
